First Aid/CPR/AED Training
Injuries happen. Properly trained individuals and the right first aid equipment help ensure better safety for everyone. Without basic life support or proper first aid, a simple injury could turn into something much more severe. Many fatalities resulting from accidents and emergency situations result from a lack of immediate medical treatment. This class teaches the basic skills needed to provide basic life support and first aid to victims in the event of accidents or injuries. Subtitles are available in other languages, including Spanish, for both live and recorded sessions. The resulting First Aid/CPR Certificate is good for two years.

Teaching First Aid and CPR to employees in the workspace has many benefits:
1.) Prevention of Serious Injury or Death: The primary advantage is that it can save lives. When a medical emergency occurs, the first few minutes are crucial. If a person receives immediate CPR or first aid, it can prevent serious injury or even death.
2.) Promotion of Safety Culture: Having trained employees can help foster a safety culture in the workplace.
3.) Reduce the Likelihood of Accidents in the Workplace: Employees will be more aware of safety and health, reducing the likelihood of accidents and injuries.
4.) Increased Confidence During Emergencies: When employees are trained in CPR and First Aid, they will feel more confident and competent in handling emergency situations. This can reduce panic and ensure a more organized response.
5.) Compliance with Regulations: In some jurisdictions, it's a legal requirement for workplaces to have a certain number of first-aid trained staff, particularly if they're in a high-risk industry.
6.) Reduced Recovery Time: Early intervention can often reduce the recovery time of an injured or sick person, which can, in turn, reduce time off work and associated costs.
7.) Team Building: First aid and CPR training can also serve as a team-building exercise, promoting cooperation and communication among employees.
8.) Employee Well-being: It shows a company's commitment to its employees' well-being and safety, which can increase job satisfaction and retention.
